Price: US $14,500.00 SOLD OUT
Here is our Type 3 Notchback. It is a great little car. The 1600 original engine is a great cruiser. We took it down to metal and did quite a bit of body work. As stated above, it was an original factory sunroof, but we could not find the parts for a cost effective ride. It is still there for anyone interested in taking on that task. We have redone the paint, interior, seats (aftermarket) and most parts. We did not want to have the dash pad so we kept it the same color as the rest of the bottom of the car. We used an Oval Window grill cover to cover the speaker opening built into the dash. We also modified the grab handle from a VW as without the pad it did not sit well. We can replace that should the buyer wish. New whitewall tires, painted rims, new steering wheel and custom horn button. New carpet kit throughout. Myself and a few friends build VW's for fun, drive them, then sell them to do another project. This Notchback, as stated above is not a show car as the pan was pretty rough. We have patched it as we could not find a pan to replace it so even though this car looks fantastic, the pan is not perfect. This is does get a ton of looks and we have current tags for any California buyer. It is for sale locally and are more than happy to show it or provide additional information for anyone in need. This car is just such a cool car and a great cruiser!!
