1966 Mustang Convertible! What a Great Car, So Iconic! LARGE PHOTOS BELOW DESCRIPTION Recently been discovered in a small Barn in the outskirts of southern Oklahoma! pretty straight body, and good paint, keep it like it is and drive, or fully restore Originally a T-code straight 6cyl car..... Converted to a 289 V8 with automatic transmission Interior is all original per the interior and trim code A/C car, but compressor is missing Nice top! only 2 spots one small tear about 2" and a gouge about 1" near the rear window convertible top motor is very strong, top is up or down in less than 10 seconds Nice wire wheels, with Brand new tires. All structure of the car, torque boxes, Trunk, etc looks solid! There is floor board rust and a few bubbles on the door and quarters but no rot thru. on the pass side it looks as if it was lightly hit but fixed, no frame damage evident. I have not attempted to start the car or dig into it. The motor does turn over well and is not seized. I did not even check if there is fuel in the car, or try to find the reason that might be causing it to not fire up. It ran and drove before it was parked about a year ago. so I can not guarantee mechanics, but seems like a great project for someone! I will be out of town until the 10th, I will still be able to return emails or calls. This is an As-is Sale, over 40 year old un-restored car, you should assume there will be other issues that I have not noticed myself.
