Wake up nostalgia nuts!!!! Here is a true once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of hotrodding history. Here is the story as we know it...this 29 ford was found in a garage in oct 2013 at which time it saw daylight for the first time since it terrorized the streets back in 1963,The car was built in true 50's hot rod style starting with the very low mileage 392 hemi with dual 4 barrel carbs from a 1957 300c fitted with a rebuilt mag, bolted to a Zepher trans and then placed in a 40 ford frame. the roadster body has been channeled with an early MG windshield installed. The interior is the same red and black rolled and pleated interior that was installed in the car in the 50's. The gauge cluster has a 180 mph speedo that we believe is from the same 300c. Steering wheel is from a 57 corvette. This time capsual still wears the 1963 lic plate, inspection sticker and registration still strapped to the steering column. Untouched all those years, even the dust...we will even throw in the slicks mounted on halibrands that supposedly he used at the track on weekends ..the car runs and drives but is no way road worthy. Please feel free to ask questions...Im listing this for a friend who may be open to a trade....street rod ..pickup?? car has wv title...
