The RAREST 1965 BARRACUDA ONE OF ONE! 2,994 1965 Formula S Barracudas. Yellow was NOT a 1965 option. This car was painted yellow at the factory and is a 999 code car. Factory Disc Brakes were NOT a 1965 option. This car is one of 117 with factory factory disc brakes, not dealer installed. The vinyl top was NOT a 1965 option. This car is one of 294 with a factory vinyl roof and this is the ORIGINAL VINYL from 1965 in perfect condition!! The car is totally rust free, totally original and had never been messed with. The original engine is a 273 with 10.25-1 Compression, solid lifters, forged steel crankshaft, Carter AFB carburetor and dual-point distributor. It was completely rebuilt by noted engine machinist, Don Hackenberg of Denver. The crank was polished, new original-style EGGE pistons, rings and bearings and heads were rebuilt. New points, plugs and Mopar wires, hoses and Mopar tar-top battery. All stainless trim was removed and polished and new bumpers installed. NOS exhaust system including NOS resonator. Ever see a $500 resonator?? The door panels, dash and vinyl roof are original! The seat covers, headliner and carpets are new by Legendary. Body finish and complete paint by Carl Francisco's Bumper to Bumper Shop. NEW NOS date coded windshield! Try to find one of those! Factory air conditioning and compressor restored to new and converted to R-134 Blue strip radial tires by Diamondback. New heavy-duty shocks, brake pads and bearings.
