Brief Summary: This is a 1972 TR6 that I purchased a while ago with no title. I was going to build this into a vintage race car, but don't have the time to. The car was backed into a pole a long time ago and parked. I purchased the car from the Chief of Police, it is not stolen and there are no liens against it. There is no rust through or weak panels in the car. It's the driest TR6 I've seen in a long time. Please look at the underside photos. TITLE: The car has no title. This is the way I purchased it. As stated above, the VIN is clean and there are no liens against it. If you are going to put the car back on the road, please check with your state's DMV for instructions BEFORE bidding. You will receive a bill of sale from me. ENGINE: Engine #CC76671UE. I have had the engine fully warmed up. It has excellent oil pressure and doesn't smoke or make unusual sounds. Oil pressure is top of the gauge when revving, at idle 50 PSI. It does leak oil, but does NOT need to be rebuilt. It does need a fuel pump and fuel tank flushed. I had it setup temporarily with an electric pump to test with. TRANSMISSION / REAR-END: The transmission and rear-end were working fine when the car backed into the pole. It was not parked due to any mechanical malfunction. It is safe to assume they are still fine. Shifter moves through all gears with no issues. CLUTCH: Hydraulics need to be bled or rebuilt. The fluid is clean in the master cylinder. BRAKES: Hydraulics need to be bled or rebuilt. The fluid is clean in the master cylinder. BODY: Please examine the pictures closely! There is no rot in the car. Floors and frame are perfect. The damage to the rear will need a new bumper, tail light panel and deck lid to fix. There is NO structural damage. NO frame damage. The quarter panels were NOT impacted (surprisingly). You will NOT need to repair the quarter panels. All other damage is in the pictures. The other damage is minor in comparison to the rear. The rear looks worse than it is. ELECTRICAL / MISC: The lights work in the car, Horn is in-op, Tachometer is in-op, Speedometer is unknown. Payment: a $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions close, preferably by PayPal. Full payment is due within 48 hours through Cash, Personal Check (car will not ship until it clears), Cashiers Check, Postal Money Order, or Wire Transfer. Shipping: It is imperative you mention to your shipper that the car does not move under its own power. I can assist with loading if they do not have a winch on their trailer.
