Today we offer a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10 th Anniversary pace car. Featuring the 6.6 Litre 403 c.i. engine that was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. Automatic transmission. 4 wheel disc brakes and a Posi. rear axle. All power options and Mirrored T-tops. New springs, shocks, and front suspension bushings. Very nice original wheels. The battery, radiator and master cylinder are new as well. Newer dual exhaust. The Tach. and gauges do work as well as a newer CD Stereo. Fly in and drive it home! This is a Georgia car and spent some time in South Carolina, Missouri and Texas before being stored at the former owners parents home in Ohio. (He is active military.) There is ZERO RUST in the uni-body. The rear body panel and trunk/ frame rails are RUSTFREE! The ONLY rust in this car is a small spot in the lower R. ft. fender and the R. lower quarter behind the wheel. It looks to have been repaired. Very E-Z fix. Solid doors and fenders. The car would need new paint, decals and some interior to be considered restored. The leather seat covers are badly cracked and the dash pad is cracked on the Pass. side. (Common issues with T-Top cars, especially southern cars exposed to the sun.) The shaker scoop has been glued to the hood... I don't know why.
