This is the whole story of this car. I am the second owner, I have owned it for 36 years. I bought it at 14 years old, it had 92,000 mile and I have put on another 10,000 in the time I have owned it. It has always been stored indoors. I started to restore it about 6 years ago. There was a little rust over the rear wheel openings so I had a new rear quarter put on from the tail lights to the doors and up to the original location by the rear window. I rubbed the front fenders against a Ford Maverick when I was in high school so I had all new front sheet metal installed so there would not be any body filler. (inner and outer fenders- core support- hood- valance panels) It has new paint- base coat clear coat- new top- all new interior- new front glass- all new weather stripping- new tale light bezels and the original ones which where showing age- New 406 Small Block- 400 with 5.7 rods to make it a 406- I had a set of 2000 Vortec heads built for it, 10.5 to 1 cast hypereuatectic, all ARP bolts. Edelbrock airgap with a 700 vacuum secondary Holley. Extreme energy RV cam with flat hydraulic lifters. The motor is "NEW" not been started yet. It is dry except for the assembly lube, never had any fluids put into it yet. The trans is "NEW' 700 R4 with shift kid and trans tech converter. The rear end is original 10 bolt. It comes with a full set of 14" Rally Wheels also. TO FINISH THIS CAR YOU WILL NEED radiator- ignition- exhausts-shifter- install final trim pieces which are all original and all included, install original hidaway headlights which are included. color sand and final polish.
