This Auction is for a rare & restored 1973 AMX Javelin. I tâs a beautiful Burgundy color with Black stripe, 2 DR hardtop coupe with an automatic floor shift. The engine is a 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 245 hp (183 kW) 4BBL completely rebuilt engine with 500 miles on it. It had a completely new paint job done in the last few years. The interior is almost completely redone - I believe it just needs a radio. The black leather upholstery is in great shape. Basically the Javelin runs great, starts right up every time, and has some serious power to it. All the chrome and trim were new and in very good condition. If they have any wear, it should be minimal. It may have some cosmetic blemishes, but it didnât when I last saw it, and it had NO RUST. ***OK***NOTES***PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING*** The pictures shown were taken in August 2013 right before I moved to California. It has been stored, covered, and under a roof with friends in New York State since then. Basically, this was my late husbandâs baby and pride &joy that he lovingly restored before he passed away. I really hate to part with it, but if I canât keep it, I would at least love it to go to another Javelin enthusiast. My loss is your gain. So here are my terms: I really donât know much more about the Javelin besides what I have described above. Idk if the car has A/C or power steering, etc. i.e. what options ist has. My description and price are based on what my husband told me before he passed. The price is based on what I was told the car was worth by my husband. Actually a little bit less just to ensure that the buyer is completely satisfied if I missed something. All I know is that this car is sweet to look at, and even sweeter to drive, looks amazing, has a really awesome shape to it, and has no major issues. This vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty. I really have done my best to represent the Javelin as accurately as possible.
