I have for auction my rare, very straight 1958 Edsel Pacer two-door hard top. It's a push-button automatic with a 361 CI Ford FE motor with factory 4 barrel carb. I have a spare reconditioned shifter motor that's included with the sale. It has a little over 71K original miles and is a very nice driver. Transmission works smoothly. Engine is strong and pulls hard. New 15" chrome steel wheels with wide white bias-ply tires. I have the original 14" wheels and hubcaps that also come with the sale. This is a short wheelbase Edsel which along with the Ranger model were produced on the Ford assembly line alongside the Fairlanes. Hence the FE motor and multiple shared parts with the Ford. I drive it regularly when it's nice out. Things that it needs? Could do with new brake lines and portioning valves. The exhaust system is tired and holed and it needs an exhaust manifold gasket on the right bank sometime soon. Paint is definitely a 20 footer. And the right passenger window is cracked but it's the same glass as the '58 Ford Fairlane so it's easy to replace. This is a perfect candidate for a concurs restoration or possibly a nice slammed lead sled. Car turns heads every time I take her out. I always get comments on her. I'd like to see the car go to someone who appreciates her and will take care of her. Winner is solely responsible for shipping arrangements.
