Price: US $12,500.00 SOLD OUT
Imported to Canada 7 years ago. I have the Illinois title which has been signed off. Someone spent a lot of time on this. Very well done. Engine block and heads have codes that translate to Hi perf 283. I put together a 1965 Corvair Mid engine back in 1975. This car is supposed to be lighter than the corvair v8 deal. I weighed about 2600 lbs. This is maybe 2200. Corvair would run 11:80's thru the mufflers. The kit uses a 2x5 box tubing frame with a corvair front suspension assy as well as the 66 or later Corvair Saginaw 4 speed bolted to thee stock corvair diff. My corvair also came with a custom 4 spider diff. Don't know if this has it but they are available. Some of these were built with a Mustang rear fastback window. Others with just the louvers. I have an assembly manual which shows they used LTD side glass and corvair w/s. There are a few sites with cars shown. Car has been off the road I was told for 30 odd years. Shows 1800 miles. Motor seems to run fine but the brakes are shot as well as the hyd clutch. Also the car comes with the ET slots. tires were G60 15's and two would not hold air. The 5 spokes are not included. I have sold cars into the US before and am quite familiar with the details. Car is in Davidson Sask, Canada Bob 306 500 0688. I'm 70 years old and have a hell of a time getting in the bloody thing. I am now lining up parts for a 540 mid engine corvair. At least I can get into it
