This is a one owner 1971 Westy with all the books and records since 1971... It was a meticulously maintained Volkswagen Bus from 1971 to 1992 when it was parked with the idea of restoring it. I bought it from the original owners, tuned up the Engine, went through the brakes, Electrical Etc...The Original Interior is as nice as you'll ever see. I know that it does have rust, but it's cosmetic and not structural. The front nose was replaced by the dealer years ago. The lucky second owner can start driving and enjoying this bus immediately...Eventually restoring to their own style if they so choose. 1971 is one of my favorite years...First year of the Dual Port Motor and Disc Brake Front End with Power Booster. Last year of the Up-Right motor before they went to the "Pancake" style. The Engine was rebuilt not long before it was parked. I did a Major Tune-Up on it including,New Clutch, Fly Wheel seal, and Fresh Oil. The brakes are like new. Transaxle Shifts smooth, and the front end is tight. All the Electrical works as it should. it comes with a dealer installed Gas Heater but it is not hooked up right now. This is a rare opportunity to own a unmolested vintage VW bus, that will only go up in value everyday.
