This is your chance to buy a real 70 Z28 4 speed Camaro. Often called a 70 1/2 due to the later build date. I have the original build sheet found under the back seat. It has the original sheet metal and is very solid probably due to the fact that it was sold new in Arizona. The father of the guy who I bought the car from owned it since 1980. It has the right Z28 only equipment such as a floor hinged gas pedal, rear sway bar with factory welded mounts, aluminum spacers on the front bump stops, 6500 rpm tach... As you can see in the photos, the original floor and trunk are very solid and rust free. The original 4.11 rear end was swapped many years ago for a 3.73 posi 10 bolt. I've had the front suspension gone through and rebuilt. It handles great! The front brakes and clutch are also new. The paint color is the original code 17 Shadow Grey. It was painted several years ago by the previous owner. While it is slick and looks very good, the paint is not show car perfect. There are a few minor chips and scratches from normal use. The interior was originally code 723 dark green but has been changed to black. All of the upholstery is new and the interior is in excellent condition. All of the weatherstripping and the door glass have just been replaced with new. It does not have the matching #'s drivetrain, but it has a 355 engine professionally built by Harrington Machine Shop in Taylorsville NC. It runs strong and sounds awesome. I have the cam card. It also has a M21 Muncie also professionally built by LP Gear in Taylorsville, NC. The car looks great and runs and drives just as good. Clear NC title in hand. This car is available for inspection at my garage in Lenoir, NC by appointment. It is a blast to own and drive and would make a great addition to any collection.
