This is a Willys M38a1 Project Vehicle. Title lists it as a 1960, but it has the features of a 1953 era Willys; angled seams on fenders, .50 Cal machine gun mount on frame, hinged front grill, 8 screw battery box lid. It has been stripped to the frame. The frame has been sand-blasted and powder-coated. It has new leaf springs with 2" lift, new shocks, new brake lines throughout, new master cylinder, rebuilt steering arm, new tie-rod ends, rebuilt transmission, new sheet metal for the gas tank well, new sheet metal for the battery box base, new motor mounts, harness for 12 volt conversion. It is missing the gas tank(rusted through), missing three wheels (had aluminum wheels when I bought it), I have two original GI wheels. I purchased the spare tire mount, and bumperettes. No roll cage. Motor is disassembled, I have all the parts, and some spares from another engine which threw a rod. Wiring harnesses are sketchy at best. I have not been into the transfer case, brakes or differentials. Odometer say 42,748 miles, but actual mileage unknown. There is some rust in the passenger seat well. There is a small hole cut where the drivers outside mirror mounts. The seats are not original, and need re-covering. There is no rear seat. There is no windshield in the frame.
