BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 65 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POWER TOP AND CORRECTLY DETAILED ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE INTERIOR AND UPHOLSTERY IS LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD AND THE EXTERIOR PAINT ONE YEAR OLD. THIS IS A CALIFORNIA MILPITAS BUILT A CODE MUSTANG. THE BURGANDY COLOR IS NOT ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. The original color of the car was Orange. When I bought the car it was already painted burgundy but in need of a repaint. The entire interior was removed from the car. The Doors, Trunk, Hood, tail lights, grille were removed from the car. At that point the Car and most of its components were painted, polished then the car was reassembled. Some of the bright work is original to the car, not new, and has some imperfections. To the best of my knowledge, no orange shows at all anywhere. As to the interior, the Seat Covers, Door Panels, top boot, were ordered in the correct black finish. The upholsterer installed the top, the carpet, the kick panels as well as the rest of the items. The trunk has a new floor mat and tire cover. The original red light (idiot gauges) were replaced with 65 GT style gauges. The mustang now has style wheels with almost new tires. The radio is an after market AM-FM cassette made for a vintage mustang. The floors were replaced prior to my ownership (see photos). The rear quarters on both sides appear to be original as there are no seams in the trunk. The mustang now has an automatic transmission (data plate shows manual) with a floor console. The bottom side of the car has not been detailed and has the usual look of a 50+ year old car. This was a cosmetic restoration, not a nut and bolt frame up restoration.
