In fact, it has its own wall of trophies. It was born in Iowa where it stayed all its life until this year. I am only the second owner of this automobile.It is equipped with a fabulous running 289 2bbl that runs cool even in the Florida heat. No ticks no shakes and no rattles. It is the best running small block car I have ever owned. For a big car it can pull its weight, and then some. It is paired to a 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic (Green Dot) that shifts FLAWLESSLY. Up/downshifts as it should under normal conditions and when the accelerator is fully depressed it downshifts to give you that extra oomph.It is very well optioned. It has factory power seats, a working radio, AIR CONDITIONING, and power brakes that'll throw you through the window. The proverbial "Stops on a dime," applies to this car. The A/C blows cold and more than keeps you chilled with the windows up in 95 degree Florida heat.The interior is a factory patterned reupholster that is show winning. Very soft yet very durable. No scratches, gouges, burns or tears in the seats or the factory white headliner. All the idiot lights work, as do the entry lights on the sail panels and under the dash. The trunk has a factory style mat, and includes the cardboard inserts on each side. There is also a full-size spare tire with all the factory inclusions- tire iron, bumper jack and stand, and jacking instructions.The paint and body are in great shape. When it was painted it was done right as I have never even needed to wax this car. Wash it, dry it off, and thats it. There are a couple little scratches here and there, but no dents or dings anywhere on the body or the bumpers. The chrome and stainless aren't showroom perfect, but they are far better than daily driver condition. VERY, very presentable. The car had has an older undercoating on the bottom, which is chipping in a few places revealing a VERY well taken care, rust free, and DRY car. This car has not seen much wet weather since its restoration.The car is currently riding on brand new 235/70/15s with 15" steel wheels and dog dishes, but included are the factory 14" wheels with whitewall tires and the original hubcaps.This is a very nice car that you can take to shows/cruise-ins and enjoy.
