Super RARE 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2 Door Post Barn find. This 1965 Pontiac has been locked away for at least a dozen years. When we saw it, we knew we had to save it. It has a couple of rust spots and it needs a new interior, but where are you going to find another one of these rare beauties. Pontiac made thousands of great 2 door cars, but most of them were 2 door hardtops. If you want something unique and rare, SOMETHING YOU MAY NEVER SEE AGAIN, here it is, a 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2 door sedan, otherwise known as a 2 door post. Post cars are lighter, stronger and flex less than hardtops, that’s why they were preferred by drag racers. We’ve done a little work to make it safe. We did a valve job with new valve seats so it can run on unleaded, the rubber fuel, brake and water lines have been replaced, new brake shoes at all 4 corners, new fan belts, a major tune up including spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition points, cap, and rotor. 389 cubic inch motor rated at 260 horsepower.
