Price: US $30,000.00 SOLD OUT
This isn't a perfectly restored concours car but it is very nice and as solid as you will find. I would rate the car 8.5 out of 10. The floors, wheel wells and every other seal support the dry and pampered life this car has led. No patch or replacement panels here. The car has 64,500 original miles and is ready to be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level. All gauges function as they should including the clock. Everything else works on the car with the only exception being the factory air, The A/C system is complete but I never bothered to go through it as I only use the car in top down weather. nothing is missing on the car except one of the flexible defrost hoses under the dash. Cars of this era are particularly interesting as they have the roots of the true muscle car beginnings with the smaller bodies and large motors. Anyone who thinks the GTO was the 1st muscle car forgot about or is ignorant of the Max Wedges, Thunderbolts and GM 409-421 motor cars that would take the pink slips and cash from all but a very few of the cars that followed. This era of car retained the beauty and chrome of the late 50's in lieu of the plastic and graphics of the late 60's and early 70's. This car was very well equipped for its day. A big block motor and factory air in a convertible was rare indeed in the early 1960's. The push button automatic and western theme gauges are reminders of the apart from the crown attitude Mopar has retained from day 1. The car is shown with 15" Magnums with bias ply tires and 14" Torque Thrust with BFG's. The new owner can select either set or if desired the 14" steel wheels with white walls(1964 hubcaps). All tire options have excellent tread, Please ask any questions in advance. If truly interested and you have the funds I can be reached at 513 292-9591 between 8am-8pm Eastern time. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will make reasonable accommodations to work with transporters but don't expect to show up in my drive with a semi or call and let me know they will be picking up in the next hour. I can hold the car for a week or so as long as arrangements are made in advance. Thanks
