1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS Here is a rare opportunity to own a 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS that is in original condition and has not been molested. This Malibu still has its original 50 year old paint which is a real plus when it comes to restoring this rare car. No hidden body work, what you see is what it is... This car has been stored in a heated garage since it was backed into on the passenger side. I have had a couple of body men look at the damage and its in their opinion that rather than cut the damaged area out, it could be pulled and have a new quarter panel installed. There is a rust free piece that comes with the car in the event that you wanted to cut the damaged section out and weld in the new section. This Malibu has some rust, but by no means is it rotten. Floors are solid, trunk pan has a couple of holes. The engine is the original 283ci (suffix code DE), original 2 speed power glide, original 2 barrel carb and intake. (will include a date code 4 barrel intake). Original SS hubcaps. Everything on this car works as it should, all lights, wipers, heater, rear defrost fan, even the washer fluid bulb. Interior has been redone including seats, door panels, headliner carpet, package tray and dash pad This car has been started and driven around the block routinely since parked.
