Price: US $1,200.00 SOLD OUT
I bought it from the second owner 3 years ago. He bought it from the original owner in 1974. They drove it around some back then, but primarily it has been a plow truck since the 70s. It got a new engine in the 80s. Previous owner had 2 jeeps and his son rolled one. So they took the new engine from the wreck and dropped it in this one. Runs smooth and quiet. Always started very easily for me and plowed just fine. There are NO brakes. They stopped working decades ago and no one cared to repair them. I would suggest complete brake system overhaul. The body is rough. Definitely needs floors. The frame is actually decent. The front springs are squashed from the plow. I advertised it locally and had a lot of people asking me things like "so if I buy it can I put a plate on and drive it?" Please realize for the past 40+ years this truck has been started a few times a year. Moved snow. And was parked for the rest of the year. NO. You can not put a plate on and drive it home. Still a great little truck. Deserves a resto. But I'm not really into them enough to do that. I bought it to Plow with. Now I have friends with plows and poor Willis is just sitting around. Questions? Ask. I check my email regularly.
