Price: US $9,350.00 SOLD OUT
My husband purchased this from the original owner, a family friend. Bob bought the car new in Texas, put 28,000 miles on it, and then had a stroke which left him unable to drive a manual. The car sat in his garage until my husband, deciding I needed this for my 50th birthday, persuaded him to sell and proceeded to spare no expense in having the European Motorcar Service perform the following: Webber upgrade with electric choke, carburetor, intakes, header pipe and manifold. Belts, coolant flush, brake flush, wipers, diff fluid, gear box oil change, oil and filter change, new battery, fuel filter and a new hood blanket. It has four brand new tires. No rust. The blue paint is original. I do not know about the top except that it is good shape with clear windows. It has one clean slit, minor and presumably repairable, which is in photo. There is a cover for the top when down and a cover for the interior of car when top is down. The car starts right up, sounds great and runs well. Interior light, cigarette lighter and air conditioning all work! There are boxes of parts and assorted items which may contain window sticker, manuals and service records.
