This is a well done conversion with top quality equipment installed and over 25k in receipts. We have driven the car less than 1000 miles since the conversion, just on weekends sometimes. We have a baby coming and need to sell this to put toward something more practical. The bug started with a rust free 1974 with a straight body and new paint job. The paint looks great, it's not a show car but looks very nice and I get compliments on the car every time I drive it. Pretty much everything on the car has been replaced or rebuilt. The back seat bottom spring has been removed to accommodate batteries and there is a platform installed over them which the seat pad rests on. Currently it's not very functional as a back seat but it does look good and the back seat on this car wasn't much to write home about anyway. The car runs and drives well and has a range of about 40 miles depending on driving style,which is well above the 25 mile average driven by Americans daily. It's a really cool car and a lot of fun.
