1955 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible This 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, a striking beauty in original color Cobalt Blue, features open air driving and offers spacious luxury and comfort. Well known in Cadillac circles as a milestone car, its shark fin design inspired the styling theme for Cadillac throughout the rest of the 1950's and early 1960's. This car is a great driver and gets lots of looks and thumbs up everywhere I go. The unique combination of the Cobalt Blue exterior and red and white interior makes it a real stand out in the crowd. The body and frame are solid and there is no rust. The stainless trim is all there and in excellent condition. There are, however, a few minor scratches and dings in the body. It maintains the original Matching Numbers 331 dual 4 barrel engine/trans/frame. The car has power windows/brakes/steering and 5 original Sabre wheels with 5 brand new radial wide white wall tires. The car was restored approximately 24 years ago and freshened up over the last few years with new stainless steel brake lines/fuel lines/gas tank, rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt power booster, rebuilt wheel cylinders, new exhaust resonators and mufflers. The car still has the original Bat Wing air cleaner. The power convertible top is in real nice condition and includes the original hard boot. I recently installed a new correct style Daytona carpet.
