Price: US $27,500.00 SOLD OUT
One of the items in the trunk was an original chrome valve cover set. The numbers on the decal as well as the tranny and differential numbers allowed Norm Miller to ID the car thru the Tiger Registry as a MK1A. I used parts from a Series IV to replace the damaged front, stripped and sandblasted the body, crafted a new wooden dash, and bought a nice 302 to connected to the original drive-train. WHAT A SWEET RIDE!!! After several years of enjoyment the old 4-speed let go and I have bought a tested T5, new flywheel and associated gear to replace it. Unfortunately, age has dealt me a bad hand and my health has taken a turn for the worse. I no longer have the time or energy to complete the conversion. It is for sale with 14 "totes" of Alpine and Tiger parts as pictured, some rare and coveted! They can be resold for a handsome sum! Two hardtops come with the car, a white fiberglass top and a factory steel top; both need work but I have the new glass and hardware to complete both tops. A new tonneau, a used tonneau and a new beige soft-top are included. I also have an unfinished section of Honduran Mahogany to craft a new dash if wanted. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping but, if wanted, I can also sell you a 20 ft car-hauler with winch for $1200. to carry your "booty" back home. Please see my facebook page (woody wooldridge) for complete pictures and description of what is included with the Tiger.
