Price: US $39,777.00 SOLD OUT
https://youtu.be/6EDqvF6kEfg This will only take a second. Google The 100 most beautiful cars of all time. Check the first few entries on each article. The C-2 Corvette is usually in the top five, and the other four cars you see in there all have names that end in i, not to mention the seven-figure price tags. This car has features which are very rare in this price range. The 66 coupe is arguably the best looking of the C-2s, and not often available at this price. This one has the correct 327, with the Holley 4 bbl carb, 4-speed manual transmission, side pipes, 4-wheel disc brakes, period Krager mags and Radial TA tires. The paint is a very good 1980s era re-spray with really cool stripes. There are paint bubbles in front of the hood scoop, and in a couple of other places. There is a crack just above the rear license plate, and the rear bumpers have some little pits. Yes, purists, thats a big-block hood, but I won't tell if you won't (you know its much cooler than the regular hood). The interior is pretty nice driver quality; the dash is nice, and the carpets are nice and black, but there is a split in the drivers seat. Most of the important gauges work; speedo, gasso, taco; not sure about the volts and temp. Headlights were in a good mood last week but they won't open this week. Probably a fuse. Runs, drives, and shifts like a very sweet 50-year old car. Missing part of the drivers door weather stripping - thats about $100 on CorvetteAmerica.com. Also needs front bumpers when you get around to it. The engine always starts right up, and it has a nice mild street cam, so it sounds pretty menacing at idle. Oh yeah, the heater coil needs replacing - theres a new one in the box in the back seat. I think this car is a great investment; it will just keep appreciating. Dont buy an old Porsche or Jaguar - the parts and repairs will eat you up. You can get a good starter for this car for 70 bucks, and an alternator for 99. While youre at it, install the alternator yourself - its only got two bolts and its right out in the open (the alternator on this car is actually fine, Im just saying some day). A new key costs a buck. I would confidently drive this car to Canada tomorrow. Buy this car to drive it-youll never get tired of the compliments!
