235 cu in 6 cyl, 2 barrel carb, dual exhaust Manual Three on the Tree, excellent clutch and tranny, runs great 6 volt, strong generator, new battery, points, plugs, wires, belt, etc. all new, fires up every time Dependable daily driver with push button start Good tires and brakes, some weather checking, Wipers, heater, defroster, horn, lights, air vents, and all windows and doors work as they should. Radio doesn't work but another radio and many, many other parts are included with the car. Chassis Upgrades: Four year build. First the stock rear floors under the rear seat and clear back to the rear bumper were removed along with the stock gas tank and spare tire tub. A 53 chevy station wagon rear floor and it's dogbone gas tank, spare tire tub and fold down rear seat were retrofitted into the fleetline. The rear seat braces were removed and a 1" x 2" tube steel framework was welded in their place to retain structural integrity while allowing the seat to fold down creating a cargo/sleeping area large enough for two adults. Convenient bulkhead cabinets of solid mahogany were built into and over the rear fender wells. Nautical hardware is used liberally throughout. The trunk and seat back and bottom along with the entire floorboard area all the way forward is protected with a heavy gauged ribbed rubber mat wall to wall. Underneath that is sound deadening duramat. Floor and interior as a whole is very easy to maintain, practically indestructible. Following are New Beautiful satin black paint and body work from Maaco 1 piece California front bumper moved back 7/8". Lighted hood ornament Front sway bar links American made all copper radiator Exterior sun visor and mirrors Complete valve job with hydraulic lifters Windows and rubbers as needed Tail lights Fuel tank sending unit Rear bumper is a 56 Ford front bumper turned upside down and the gaps filled in with 16 ga. steel, cool. Tail pipe extensions are off my knucklehead Interior Upgrades: Full Woody Interior took months to create and install. Birch underlayment headliner topped with clear maple strips Solid mahogany door panels and bulkhead cabinets Maple rear window blinds Weatherstripping Seats rebuilt with new springs, foam, memory foam, and pleated vinyl. Very comfortable and good looking All gauges work Even the dash clock keeps perfect time. (If you wind it up regularly) Of course car is sold as is where is no warranty and I reserve the right to remove the car from listing at any time as it is for sale locally.
