Price: US $4,500.00 SOLD OUT
1973 Porsche 914 2.0. This is the most desirable model aside from the 914-6. I have complete documentation from the day the car was purchased with receipts for all sorts of work done on the car. The car has dealer installed A/C, which is complete but not in working order. The car is lowered a bit and is wearing aftermarket wheels. I replaced the fuel tank, injectors, rubber fuel lines, fuel pump, filter and battery. The car starts up quickly and runs well. I've driven it up to 55 mph shifting through all the gears. However, the tires are old and the brakes are very weak, so it really should not be driven until these are sorted. In addition, the original plastic fuel lines that run inside the tunnel are still on the car and while they do work, they should be replaced for safety reasons. The car's original color is silver, though it has been repainted. The paint is peeling in several places and there is rust at the bottom of the driver door and along the bottom edge of the windshield. The floors are pretty nice overall except for an area behind the right seat which appears to have been poorly addressed at some point is the past. There is also some evidence of rust repair in the trunk area at the rear of the car. The "hell hole" looks reasonably clean, but the battery tray is a bit rough and there is some corrosion down where the area meets the floors. The doors, hood and trunk all line up well and open and close smoothly. The interior looks nice overall, with clean door panels and dash pad. There is an aftermarket dash mat in place. The front trunk area is clean. The lights, turn signals, horn and wipers work. Aftermarket Dino steering wheel is installed. Car has an aftermarket stereo and amp installed. The radio seems to turn on but I cant figure out how to make it work. The car comes with an extra top (black), a clean left side door to replace the rusted one, brand new chassis stiffening kit, rear spoiler (not pictured yet - it's in storage) and other various small parts. I have a clear Florida title. The complete VIN number will be provided to the buyer after the end of the auction for security reasons. I am willing to help accommodate pick up of the vehicle, but pick up and shipping remains the responsibility of the buyer. Deposit must be made with 48 hours. If the deposit is not made with the specified time frame, the sale will be cancelled. Payment in full must be made within 7 days unless the buyer has made prior arrangements with me, the seller.
