Selling my 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. I've been the owner for 4 years, had the car in storage for the last 2 years. Engine ran when it was put in storage but I haven't ran it since then because the battery is dead. Has a rebuilt 5.7 liter 350 cubic inch V8 with dual headers and dual exhaust which runs/ran strong and sounds great when running. The engine currently needs new freeze plugs and may need a gasket or two. TH350 Automatic transmission which worked well the last time it was driven. The stock color of the car was mahogany or red I believe, but it currently has a color changing paint which goes from gold to purple-ish in color. New digital radio with lots of features, designed to fit into the stock dash as a replacement. New brake calipers, pads, and brake lines all the way around. New brake master cylinder, proportioning valve, and brake booster. New quadrajet carburetor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and starter. Fairly new wheels and tires have less than 5,000 miles on them (includes center caps which aren't on in the pictures). Interior is in pretty good shape. Fairly new acrylic t-tops (blue tinted shaded). Current headers are fairly new, heads need to be re-tapped since a couple of the bolts jiggle loose occasionally. Driver-side header also needs to be connected to its tail-pipe. There are a few electrical gremlins and other minor things as with all cars of this age, nothing major though as far as I know. I have additional parts I can include if wanted, including some original mirrored t-tops (they need new weather seals), new valence panel, spare headers, etc.. Clean title in hand. It's a great car, would make a great restoration, and will make a really sweet ride for somebody! Thank you! A deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction ending via PayPal.
