Custom built 1923 T-Bucket (original 1923 frame) with a clear Virginia title and registration with 245 miles on the total re-build. The Candy apple red exterior is an eye catcher. The interior is a grey two tone with red piping making the contrast impressive. The power comes from a 406 cu in small block built by Terry Walters Performance Motors, Roanoke, Va; a 525 hp build at a cost over $15k. The engine is finished with Trick Flow, Kenny Duttweiler Signature Series 23 Degree Aluminum Cylinder Heads, topped off with a Edelbrock Super Victor Series Intake Manifold and Edelbrock single 4 BL carburetor. The automatic 350 turbo transmission makes quick acceleration an easy task. The ceramic headers have a graceful, nostalgic shape that makes them perfect for this T-bucket roadster. These ceramic coated headers provide superior performance and durability for this stunning hot rod. The Ford 9†rear-end is capped by true classic Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T grippers providing ample traction and rapid acceleration. The front Pro Trac street tires from Coker are a perfect for this hot rod. Holding this together in fine fashion is a 4†dropped chrome Speedway front axle, stopped by rear drum brakes and Wilwood disc brakes up front. Throughout the car are custom components, milled locally in Bedford, Va.. The shifter is a Billet 16" Automatic Shifter which matches the brake and accelerator selection. The front end has the Ford monogram shroud concealing the light-weight all-Aluminum Radiator with 3 Row cooling. Behind the rear license plate is the on-off power switch and jumper posts. Access to these hidden components is gained by lowering the 1966 Chevelle transferred license plate frame. This type of custom craftsmanship is found throughout this one-of-kind build. Lathed bullet tips from raw stainless steel stock adorn frame and front end radius arms. Finishing off the sides of the roadster are polished aluminum diamond style step plates with the 'Ford' logo. The aluminum highlights pull together the billet air breather, engine components and diamond plate firewall and rear turtle deck trim plates.
