Price: US $30,000.00 SOLD OUT
The engine is built to Jim Butlers performance specifications (actually spoke with jim himself about 10 times throughout the build). Itâs a 400 block punched out, edelbrock heads built by butler performance, tremec 5 speed, with a ford nine inch under it (moser axles). Bought the direct swap built for a 65 GTO. Have time slips from Tulsa speedway somewhere of the car going low 12âs. This was before the tremec 5 speed. Installed the transmission and then had a heart attack! Life changed at that point! I feel like the car should be in the 11âs now but have not been back to the track to test. Had this car since I was 17, spent every dime I had on it for 10 or 15 years. Then had kids! Hate to see it leave! Itâs a straight line car. Bought a disc brake conversion from someone but canât remember who, it has a CPP brake booster and hydraulic clutch. The Z-bar wouldnât work without massive fabrication and cutting the headers. Dougâs headers by the way. I think the carb is a 750 or a 850 double pumper Holley. I put the mileage at 100,000 miles but there is probably 1000 miles on the engine and drive train, and the car mileage is unknown at this point, the speedometer head has been changed
