I've owned this car for a very long time and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I've recently moved and the blue lady is too long to fit the tiny new garage. I drive this car every week. To the beach, to the mountains, around the city. Everywhere. She has a freshly rebuilt engine (the mechanic tells me its a 390) with less that 1000 miles. Runs great. Once she's warmed up, she'll purr like a kitten. Transmission's been rebuilt, electrical, brakes... you name it, I've probably done it. For a 55 year old car, she's in pretty good condition. Now, here's the drawbacks to a 55 year old car. First, the convertible frame and top are broken and need to be replaced by a professional. Fortunately I have a replacement frame that will be included with the purchase. Secondly, the starter has been recently rebuilt, but sometimes requires a gentle tap to loosen the coil. Thirdly, body is pretty straight except for a few dings here and there. She also has some small rust spots by the bottom wheel wells. The odometer shows100000 miles, but I imagine its over that. It's not much for a 55 year old but I wanted to be completely honest. Overall, she's great lookin' and even better drivin.' I get compliments and head turns every single time I take her out.
