Manufacturebuild sheet for 1929 Ford Model A extended cab pick-up truck.Fabricationwas started by using a 1991 Chevy S10 pick-up rear sub frame. Cab wasbuilt by using a 1929 Ford Model A body with extended cab portion being from a1930 Ford Model A to provide a larger seating area. All weldingwas completed utilizing a MIG welder. All frame welds were welded with 2 passes for structural strength.The projectwas built by manufacturing a complete front end drop axle suspension from a1957 Chevrolet ½ ton with new 2 inch by 3 inch box tubing structure steel. The box tubing frame section was weldedtogether into rear 1991 Chevy S-10 frame section by about 13 inches providingstructure and strength. The welding wasall boxed tubing with cross braces for internal frame support and structure. An additional 2x2 boxed tubing X-Frame hasbeen welded in and welded to all floor 1x1 boxed tubing to provide even morestrength.Transmissiontunnel was welded from 1 inch square structure steel, with the drive shaftsafety hoops from 1 inch round steel. The frontand rear ends were assembled with shocks on each axle to provide a smooth ride.Pick-upequipped with head lights (hi/lo), brake lights and running lights.
