Thanks for looking.ExteriorThis 1963 Chevy C-10 Longbed pick up spent its entire life in California. Built at the GM plant in Ontario, CA., it received a body off restoration before I purchased it four years ago. The paint, bright work and pick up bed is in excellent condition. This truck sports the Custom Bed trim and has the big rear window feature. The fender skirts, spinner hub caps and wide white tires give it a West Coast retro look.InteriorThe red and white paint scheme is carried over to the interior. The two tone paint job is excellent. we did remove the stock gauges and installed a six gauge set up from Classic Instruments. While the radio is none working I did not miss it as I loved listening to the duel exhausts when driving the rural roads around my ranch.EngineWho ever did the restoration project stopped at the engine department. I pulled the standard straight six and replaced it with a professionally built Small block 283 V 8 topped off with a 500 cfm Edelbrock carburetor. Pulling the side covers off the stock three speed transmission it looked like new inside so we left it as is and put in a Hurst floor shift. The low geared stock rear end was traded out for a 3:77 positraction unit. We installed a set of headers and stainless duel exhaust with a set of Flowmasters. The engine starts flawlessly, purrs like a kitten and sounds great with the duel exhaust. Lastly, the actual miles driven sits at 634.
