The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven. Seller's Notes low mileage 1969 mustang coupe. needs restoration. Vehicle Details 1969 V8 Mustang with 72K from Alabama. Running, numbers matching 302 Automatic. This will be the last time that anyone will ever see a Running 1969 Mustang with under 75000 miles for less than $10,000. Factory dual exhaust. Fenders, trunk, and floor pans are in good shape. Engine/transmission/intake/valve covers/windshield wiper reservoir, etc all have never been removed since new. The frame rails are not rusted, disc brake car. New floor pans installed, welded and sealed. Applied POR to the trunk pan, and gas tank, then sealed the tank. Sanded the car with 180, then 320, and applied blue removable paint to protect the body from rust. Under this blue coating is the ORIGINAL weather-beaten blue paint job that has never been repainted. The right door is the only panel that is not original to the car. Both doors have a couple of spots of rust in the bottom, but are still useable. Quarter panels are good, but the drivers side does have a spot under the rear quarter glass window. The car once had a vinyl top, but the top was removed while the metal was still good. Glass is good, but......its a 69, so you know the glass is off the track. Grille is original and not broken. I purchased the car, changed out the floor pans and freshened up the 50+ year old interior. swapped out the carb with an exact 71 model 2V from a Mustang. Replaced points, condenser, coil, solenoid switch, ignition and tumbler, but retained all of the the original parts. Unfortunately, I have no room for it. I sat a 42K mile classic Corvette outside in the rain for weeks while working on the car, and just cant keep it any longer. The Chevrolet belongs to the female of the house....and i hate to admit it, but she is right. Deposit of $1000 required. Remainder due within 7 days.
