Ford Mustang 1966 Fastback - GT-350 Shelby Tribute - originally built as a very Rare " T " code sprint package Mustang Fastback . ( 200 6 cyl 3 speed ) Some experts think around 1000 " T " code fastback Sprints were made .. This Car has been modified as follows : 1. 289 factory HiPo engine installed - Rebuilt few years ago and has 500 miles on it. Engine came for Competition Automotive - Gus Zuidema Solid Lifters Lemans Holley center float Carburetor Engine is .030 over and is a Ford factory HiPo . Bigger main caps , factory hipo crankshaft. Camshaft has higher lift than stock - Heads , are factory HiPo , screw in studs , spring cups " 20 " Cast at corners both heads Date 3L21 Block is - C5AE-6015E , date 4 J15 , 6 bolt bellhousing - early 65 dated block.. Block has NO mustang VIN but does have 0055 stamped into it. See pics.. Its possible this is a cobra block ? Engine came from Gus Zuidema's shop a guy that has Racing history with original Cobra's in the 1960's.. 2. Rear end replaced with 1957 Ford HD 9" big bearings with 11" rear drum brakes , HD leaf springs. 3. Front end lowered 1" , 4. Front disc Brakes are manual and are 1971 ford factory type with 11" rotors. 6. Transmission is a 1967 Top loader 4 speed . 7. Tri Y Headers.. with exhaust coming out in front of rear wheels. 8. Alum. Cobra " T " oil pan. 9. Overall car Body looks good for paint being 18 yrs old , has a few touched up chips .. Paint not perfect but nice.. 10. The car runs and drives fine - has Manual steering ..11. Brakes front and rear replaced few years ago ..12. Rear louvers removed and plexiglass windows install . 13. Rear end ratio is 35014. Car has a clean MA Title ..and is registered at this time , driven few times in 3 years.. 15. Interior is in good condition / slighty worn. 16. Main wire harness replaced recently , all lights / electrical stuff work fine17 All gauges work including tach .. 18 Hurst Shifter works fine. 19 Tires few years old. 20. Radiator recently replaced with correct look quality copper .
