Chevrolet Chevelle. Powering this '70 Chevelle is a thumping 502 cubic inch big block V8 with that's ready to fight with anyone, anytime, and anywhere. And it's probably going to win. Augmented with Edelbrock aluminum air-gap intake, a big Holley sniper fuel injection. Edelbrock rpm aluminum heads, and hooker long-tube headers, and it immediately sparks to life thanks to a full HEI ignition system and modern alternator. The cowl induction hood big aluminum mishimoto radiator. Long-tube headers add a few extra ponies and definitely bolster the big block's robust torque curve, and the soundtrack is fantastic thanks to the X-pipe dual exhaust system and Magnaflow mufflers underneath. Twist the key, warm it up, and try to restrain a goofy grin while it settles into an easy idle (I know our sales guys couldn't help being giddy once this monster started its lopey cackle), and because the throttle response is 'right now' quick through every gear, there won't be many vintage cars that can beat you on the roll. The 4 speed 200r4 transmission is simply a wonderful upgrade that maximizes the output of the big block and allows for highway cruising as it spins the heavy-duty rear end out back.
