Up for sale is a 1977 Ford F250 Custom Cab Highboy 4x4 with Explorer package, it is a true factory red Highboy built January of 1977 (Highboys built 1967 through June of 1977). This Highboy was owned by a farmer for many years in Nebraska, it is powered by a 351m v8 engine with Holley 4 barrel carb, 4 speed is factory and has granny low first.Original Highboy factory equipment includes the following:-Divorced transfer case. (Transfer case is separate from transmission)-Front frame crossmember below bumper-Gas tank behind seat-Highboy specific power steering assembly-Frame 4 inches narrower than normal truckThis specific truck runs and drives, the 4 wheel drive works (lockout hubs), cab mounts, cab corners, floor pans are all solid. It appears to be all complete and mostly original.The bad:-Engine runs down the road but has a light knock when at temperature (rebuild recommended)-Power steering leaks-Hood has rust on underside-box sides have bondo where it's painted black above wheels (rest of truck is mostly rust and bondo free)-various dents and dings and minor rust, see picturesOverall a solid, restorable truck that is hard to find in this condition and the combination of Highboy, 4 speed, red, and Explorer package.
