Vehicle Details The is a 1979 International Scout II. I’ve owned it for the last 2 years and prior to me owning it it was in KY and before that it was in TX until 2009. There are a couple small holes in the truck bed area and there is a rusty hole on the LH quarter panel in front of the rear tire. The floor pans, inner rockers, outer rockers and body supports are all solid. This is a very solid truck compared to most, especially in this area. All of the mechanics work as they should. The 345 V8 engine starts up, the 727 automatic transmidsion shifts good and the transfer case shifts in and out of 4wd with ease. When the truck sits awhile it will blow a little smoke at start up. I have driven the scout for multiple hours at a time and it has always did fine. There is an exhaust leak that you can hear. There is a new Holley Aluminum 350cfm carburetor on the truck. The scout is located in Franklin Ky 42134 and will remain here until it is completely paid for. I can help arrange shipping to anywhere in the us. I have a local auto transporter. The scout is being sold as is where is without any warranty expressed or implied. The scout is forsale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. The title says exceeds mechanical limits, so I’m unsure if mileage is correct. There is also a window missing on left side of the top and the lift gate window is busted.
