Very rare 1968 F-100 Camper Special. 390 V-8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Power steering, power brakes, bed toolbox, & dual tanks. The truck runs/drives beautifully. Over $3500 dollars worth of parts and recent repairs were recently done (receipts are included). Pride of ownership shows throughout the truck. MOTOR & TRANSMSSION- The 390 powered V-8 runs excellent and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts wonderfully through all gears and does not grind while up or down shifting. New clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, & flywheel. The brakes were recently updated to power brakes. New Napa Legend battery, battery cables, heater core, heater control valve, heater hoses, radiator hose, brake booster, master cylinder, ring gear, distributor cap, rotor, points, spark plugs, & spark plug wires. New exhaust & muffler. The truck has been well maintained. Recent complete full tune-up & oil change. Runs & drives beautifully. INTERIOR- Overall the interior of the F-100 is very nice. New carpet and seat cover. The interior is very comfortable & clean. No smells or odors. With the exception of the horn everything works. All of the glass is in good condition. Newer sliding rear window. The front windows roll up & down easily. The heater works well. The dash is un-cut. All gauges, lights, and blinkers work properly. The truck still retains its original door data plate as well as owner's manual. EXTERIOR- Older complete driver quality repaint. The inside of the cab & engine bay was repainted as well. The paint looks really nice but does have minor dings, chips, and imperfections. This is not a show truck however it is a very nice driver that can be daily driven or used for parades, local car shows, & cruise-ins. The body is super dry. The cab corners, floors, gutters, front fenders, doors, cab inner and outer rockers, bed lower rockers, & hood are all free of rust/cancer. The underside/undercarriage is free of any cancer. New rear bumper. The front bumper and factory hubcaps are in very nice condition. Spray in bed liner. OTHER- New Hankook heavy duty truck rated 235/75/15 tires. With a heavy heart I have decided to part ways with my beloved Ford truck. The F-100 Camper Specials are relatively rare as almost all Camper Specials were 3/4-ton F-250's.
