Price: US $5,999.99 SOLD OUT
1959 Thunderbird 2-door Hardtop. Bought as a project in 2020, came from New Mexico. Sat in New Mexico for the last 30 years in a private collection- not being used. Car needed everything when it arrived. Brakes were done to include drums, lines, hoses, cylinders. Master/booster not done at that time. Power Steering was 100% rebuilt and works perfectly now. Engine ran well and can be driven around my yard. I replaced the tires and rebuilt the entire front end. 4 new springs/shocks. Car is solid, needs some frame work. Engine runs, but likely needs a valve job or a rebuild. I fixed most leaks, but the engine seems to have a leaking frost plug now. Mileage unknown- speedo not working.I believe the car has a 352, and a Cruise-o-matic trans. Originally, car was black with Black/white interior. Interior was replaced with 1960 red interior/ seats. Needs re-do.Car is available for inspection, runs and moves short distances.I did a ton of work on it, bought a bunch of parts for it. Should be fairly easy to make it road worthy.I have 3 months of bills hitting in one month. Time to go. Over 8K in the car.Buyer needs to pick up or transport, will not ship.FYI- It's cold here and we have snow- if you send a tandem truck to pick up the car during a snow storm- tell them it's in-op. Even though it runs and drives- I won't be driving the car 20 miles to find their truck.
