This is an original 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post car. 71,000 original miles. Turquoise Poly over India Ivory. Original factory clothe interior in same colors. Original drive train 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder / 2 speed Power Glide Automatic transmission. Factory AM Radio / Factory Clock / Factory hub caps. The car is originally from New Jersey. In 1978 it was bought and brought to Long Island New York where it was parked in a garage and stored since 1978 until 2021. The car does run at idle then shuts off after a few seconds. The car has had one repaint prior to 1978 and has very limited rust on body. There is some rust under the car on body mount near lower wheel well and body filler on passenger bottom wheel well. There is a small amount of rust a top each fender as well, 95% of the car is solid original body panels. The car does have dents and scratches. The trunk, floors, frame and fire wall are all solid. This car is a great base car to restore and drive, make into a resto mod or pro touring. I do have a NYS transferrable registration in my name as proof of ownership.
