It was restored some time ago, but since I've had it, I've put in a lot of new parts. The car was built in San Jose California with a Teal on Teal color scheme. It was updated by a previous owner to Metallic blue with white racing stripes to give it that Shelby Cobra look. The chrome bumpers are in great shape. Brand new 15â GT9 Shelby wheels with Cooper Cobra G/T tires are what really stands out. A new black billet grille with fog lights add to the Shelby look.Under the hood is a strong running Ford 289 cubic-inch V8. That's the correct displacement for a C-code car like this. The bold blue block now inhales deeper with a four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It exhales with added power as the headers feed the dual Flowmaster exhaust. Edelbrock valve covers, and custom air cleaner complete the look under the hood. The C4 automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2019.The all-black interior has front bucket seats and a rear bench seat with upholstery that looks like it has been given a solid investment. The blue exterior color continues inside on the dash and door frames. There is an upgraded retro-style AM/FM stereo is digital and has wireless bluetooth connectivity, but looks like the original stock radio. A nice driver upgrade is the wood-trimmed Shelby cobra steering wheel. This car runs and drives great. I drive it on a regular basis and get a lot of compliments, but It should be noted that the paint is not perfect. It has some chips, scratches and bubbles. Also, the passenger side front fender is a slightly different shade of blue. This difference is unnoticeable unless pointed out. Odometer reads 38,980, but likely it has turned over and the true mileage could be higher. Clean title and registration is current. Itâs ready to cruise!Other features include:Front disc breaksNew batteryNew alternatorNew front shocks with 1â lowering springs to level the stance.New rear leaf springsAll gauges and lights work
