@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto); Vehicle Details I purchased this MG from a gentleman who had bought it years ago and had it on the road regularly, but about five years ago, it started popping out of fourth gear and he put it away in indoor storage. I bought it with the intent to rebuild the transmission but I cannot find the free time. The car has fresh fuel, new plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter. It starts and runs, but is not drivable. The throttle cable needs a clip where it links to the carb, and there is a coolant leak when the car is running. As I have not driven it, I cannot guarantee that there may not also be other issues that will arise when you work on getting it back to road ready. The car has 36k original miles on it.Look closely at the pictures and you will see that the car is in very nice shape and is a true survivor car. It has had a professional repaint. There are a couple places where paint has crept up onto the edges of rubber gaskets etc, but the paint job is a really nice one. The car looks outstanding. I would suspect the engine was rebuilt when the car was repainted because everything from the engine bay was obviously removed when the bay was painted, and the engine has been professionally repainted as well. Interior looks good. The carpets and seats are pretty nice. Dash has a new cap over it. Top has some small tears around snaps. Parade boot is ripping at the seams. Tires are excellent and show no signs of dry rot. Car has a dent on the front right fender where the building it was previously stored in had a brace collapse on the car from snow load on the roof.I suggest you call me before purchasing to ask any additional questions you may have.
