This little Ford looks very nice in its custom two-tone PPG paint with accent striping. The nice original Montana body was brought home to Idaho in 1993 and then the work began. The original flathead engine was used at first, and then all new glass was installed in 1997. This Ford was driven in primer for 7 years before the beautiful paint was applied. It has frenched 39 taillights at the rear, frenched driving lights up front, seal beam head light under the original headlight lenses, cool turn signal lights installed in the grill opening, custom trunk lock opener and custom chrome bumper bares were also added front and rear. All this was done in 2004. In 2006 the complete custom upholstery job was installed my well-known Mattoon's Upholstery and the outside paint design was also used on the inside door panels. (Very Nice) In 2014 The new and completely rebuilt 302 engine from a 1973 Ford Mustang and a T-5 4 speed transmission were installed with 302 install kit for a 1939 Ford. A new 4 core radiator was used and it stays cool with it's electric fan. This little Ford has disk brakes up front, original Banjo rear end with 3.78 gear ratio and a open drive line conversion kit was also used in the build. It has new pollee gas tank, Vaga steering box and it drives very nice and runs strong. The car also has electric wildshield wipers, and Vintage Air. The air-conditioning and heater unit was on the Flathead engine when it was in, but it will need new brackets for the 302 engine to finish the installation on it. Under dash parts are all in place and the in dash vents are nice and hooked up, but the dryer, condenser, compressor and pluming all need installed on the new 302 engine under the hood. All these part come with the car. Dryer, condenser, compressor and all pluming but all will need installed. All receipts come with the car and over $38620.18 spent on the build.
