Extremely solid and straight 1979 Dodge W150 Clubcab Shortbed powerwagon. Will not need much at all to prep body for new paintâ¦or leave patina. This is one of the most desirable and hardest to find configuration of Powerwagons. I searched long and far to find the perfect truck. I planned on keeping this one for myself but thinning the herd down to concentrate on my other vehicle (69 Charger R/T). This truck spent its life in the dry west until I purchased it and brought it home. Iâve never had a more solid truck. See pics of undersideâ¦light surface rust and desert dirt is all youâll find. While extremely solid I have found a couple small areas that will need some attention: 1. PS rear wheel arch has a few very small rust spots (stains vs holes) see pic 2. PS rocker has some bubbles (new rocker included to repair) Other than whatâs mentioned above, trucks ROCK SOLID. This truck is LOADED! Originally came with a 360 but now has a fresh 440 engine (just broke cam in) and is a powerhouse! Optioned with AT, PS, Cruise, AC, Dual fuel tanks, tachometer, am/fm radio, dual accessory gauges (not all operating, everything was unhooked to be redone). Has new 33x11.50 tires and wheels. Engine: â75 440 engine, rebuilt to stock specs but with Mopar Purple Camshaft. NOS thermoquad carburetor. Has all correct and hard to find truck parts. Trans: 727 Gearing: 3:21 (great for highway) Exhaust: ceramic coated headers (I forget maker but these are nice ones). Tires/wheels: New Firestone Destination A/T 33x11.50x15âs on 15x10 black wagon wheels While truck does start, run, drive and stop, it will need to be trailered after purchase. Needs: -windshield (cracked) -trans dipstick tube o-ring leaks - needs exhaust pipe made to connect headers to rear exhaust -some of the gauges connected - is missing its undehood ac components Parts off vehicle but included (were removed to prep for bodywork/paint): - all exterior body trim - exterior mirrors - emblems - NOS hood âDODGEâ emblem - wiper arms Exterior One would be hard pressed to find a more solid shortbed Clubcab powerwagon for less. Interior Engine Light surface rust underneath is all it has and still wearing some western dirt Download the eBay Motors app
