Price: US $14,500.00 SOLD OUT
This is a 1977 original paint MGB convertible with factory overdrive. Purchased new here in Atlanta by a lady living in Tennessee, it has been driven only 42,000 miles, and has been in my personal collection for at least six years. I purchased because of the low miles, original paint, and southern rust free condition. Meticulously maintained, I spent time reconditioning a car that spent most of its time in the garage, including a new exhaust system, new Bosch alternator and regulator, new brake booster, new rear wheel cylinders, and new front suspension bushings. This car has been stored in my air conditioned and heated car display area, and recently thoroughly serviced by our British mechanic, 72 year old Phil Middleton, with great attention to detail. Everything works, the car is mechanically sound, and will drive home, if you decide to purchase. Original paint, never undercoated, never rusted, spent its life down here in the south, no excuses. The exception is that the rear left trunk lid has the typical pinch from someone trying to close it without releasing the stay rod. This is a preservation class car that should be enjoyed sparingly as to preserve the low miles and originality. More pictures upon request, or please feel free to call me to talk about it. I am a vintage Porsche dealer, but this car is in my private British sports collection with four 1967 mgb gt models and a series II XKE I take my cars very seriously so you can expect the best from this one George Hussey 770 427 2844 ext 111
