This Edsel has only had 2 owners from new and the speedometer is showing 7283 miles, but we think it is more. (Nobody knows) (always a Washington car) This owner bought it from an estate and the car had been sitting in storage for about 40 years. Before the car was stored away, the engine was rebuilt and has about 1500 miles on it as the estate said. This owner has installed new brakes, new exhaust and had the carburetor rebuilt. It starts easy and runs strong. It is a good driving car and everything on the car works as it should, lights, turn signals, wipers, heater and radio but the radios speaker is bad and needs a new one. The body is very nice with only a couple of dings. One on the passenger side quarter panel and one under the door on the rocker panel also on the passenger side. The paint is its original and is showing its age. No rust out at all, only some surface rust in a few spots. (please look at all pitchers closely) All bright work is also original and looks nice even the stainless is nice. The interior needs attention. The door panels look ok but the seats, head liner and carpeting all need redon. The chrome on the dash has some small pitting but is all there. The glass is ok but the passenger side rear door window is cracked and the windshield dose have two very small rock chips in it but they were repaired. Tires are older but have good tread and it has all of its original hub caps. I'm listing this little Edsel for my friend and will take all questions to him.
