This is a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. The car is a L48 model, originally Black with Black.The vehicle has been the subject of a frame of restoration that is nearing its final stages.The engine and transmission of the car have been done to performance specifications.The suspension and brakes are completely redone. All the fuel lines, brake lines / hardlines on the car have been replaced. The frame has been refinished as well assuspension components, axles, control arms, and rear axle. The AC system is new andinstalled. Radiator and condenser appear as new and / or rebuilt. The body on the car isgood but has yet to be painted. The interior has been largely started and fitted with latermodel Corvette seats. The VIN and Trim Tags are original to the car. This was NOT arestoration being performed for the purpose of profit / resale. Overall, a very well-donecar to the current state. car with good body, frame, and original driveline. The car willneed final body work, paint, install, and shakedown to be a high-level example restoredto personal taste.Mileage 85,265 Indicated, motor rebuilt as well. It starts, but needs timing corrected to idle properly. That is the only thing holding it back from being "drivable". Headlight assembly's also come with the car, and are completely restored and just need installed. Car has also been rekeyed completely to factory keyset.
