Original motor starts right up and runs good. Car is a rare paint color - Samoan Coral. Ford only offered this color in 1964. 1 year only. Very few are left to exist according to the Vintage Thunderbird clubs. Car was built near San Diego, CA where it was purchased and lived in dry Southern California for 50 years. Car was a barn find when I purchased it. Engine and transmission run well, with new water pump, battery, new hoses and belts, new tires, - less than 100 miles, some front suspension work, new dual exhaust, power windows (only drivers and passenger work, not rear windows), original black interior in 9 out of 10 condition including carpet and headliner. AM/FM radio does not play but has power and lights up. Car has all original glass with no cracks. Never been in an accident. As with all 1960's Fords, there is small bit of rust in the trunk but nothing major. Car was repainted the original color in the 80's according to the previous owner. The paint is not perfect and could use some TLC if you want it perfect. Car has original spinner hubcaps and fender skirts. Chrome is all original and could use polishing. The front left bumper has 1 inch crack barely noticeable (see pic). Swingaway steering wheel, power brakes, power steering, no A/C. This car is a true head turner! Wouldnt take much to make it a perfect car! Mechanic says he has never seen one this original for being 58 years old. Car has original solid floors. Comes with the original set of keys and older car cover. This is your chance to own the rarest color Thunderbird for 1964.
