A great little European sports car, this one sports a 1995 cc DUAL OVERHEAD CAM engine hooked to a manual 5-speed transmission. This was the last year for carbureted models. If you ae looking for a show car, this is not the one for you. But if you want to go get ice cream and feel the wind in your hair, then this car will provide tons of fun! I went through this car to make it as dependable as possible because it was to be my wife's fun car. Below is a list of things that have been replaced (even though many of them were working). Included with the car is an original owner's manual and a custom-fit car cover. But if you wanted to take it to the next level the convertible top would need to be replaced. It shows wear overall and the back window has split. We never drove it with the top in the up position so we chose to overlook this issue. Also, the only rusty areas on the car were the rear wheel wells, They were repaired nicely, but not properly sealed before painting so the paint on the drivers side wheel well has cracked. One last thing: the reason for the "R" title is NOT crash damage! Years ago the car was left outside and the interior got damp and mildewed. The insurance company wanted to total the car rather than replace the interior, but the owner said no and replaced the interior. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of this description and provide more detail. Winning bidder to pay non-refundable $250.00 deposit upon auction completion. Balance due before or upon pickup, but checks must clear my bank before the car leaves my property. If you are not satisfied upon seeing the car, all monies will be refunded except the deposit.
