This is an exceptional frame-off total restoration of a 1955 ford custom cab f-100 pickup. A custom two stage professional paint job coupled with all new exterior trim and hardware.1955 was the first year Ford introduced the custom cab option which added amenities including armrests, door panels, kick panels, and headliner. This truck has been retro fitted with all the newer amenities to give a new truck feel. For power a small block Chevrolet 350/700r4 transmission with a mild cam and a 600 Edelbrock carburetor. Then cooled by an aluminum radiator with a high output electric fan. The exhaust features stainless steel headers and custom exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. The original chassis was replaced with a TCI chassis with a parallel 4 link set up with RideTech coil overs, Eibach springs that are adjustable with compression dampers. The steering is set up with a close ratio mustang 2 rack with adjustable pressure valve. The chassis was all powder coated satin black with all new hardware and adjustable sway bars front and rear. CPP front disc brakes and drums in the rear with custom made steel brake lines. The cab was completely lined with sound deadener with a fresh interior that comes with an Alpine head unit all Bluetooth and Sirius ready with Boston Acoustic speakers. This truck rolls on Wheel Vintique artillery steel wheels with Ford beauty rings and caps mounted to Nitto NT555 tires.
